Tennessee! Tennessee! Tennessee!
First, let me just say this:
TENNESSEE IS GOING TO BEAT OHIO STATE!
Too bad the game comes on at 9:57 PM Thursday night. WTF!?
I watched the UVA-UT game at a sports grille in Charlottesville, home of UVA, on Sunday. That was great. Then I went to the Justin Timberlake concert. Pink opened for him, and Timbaland showed up halfway through. I wasn't blown away by the concert, but it wasn't bad. Justin Timberlake is a very, very good singer. Probably the best singer I've ever seen live.
Now, back to Tennessee.
The men are in the Sweet 16. The women are in the Sweet 16. The softball team is #1 in the nation. I'm going to the Orange and White game (the football scrimmage) next weekend. I have Tennessee stuff all around my desk at work, and I've been hanging out with the Sports reporters and editors at work talking about the NCAA tournament.
That was just a paragraph of random Tennessee stuff.
I really do think Tennessee is going to upset Ohio State. A lot of ESPN sports writers feel the same way. Tennessee only lost by 2 points in overtime to Ohio State in January.
As for the women, I can't wait until Tennessee plays North Carolina again. I hate that little Ivory Latta chick for North Carolina. And yay for Candace Parker! And yay for Sidney Spencer! And so many more on the Tennessee team. I don't know if Tennessee will be able to beat North Carolina, though. If they beat them, then they will win it all.
