So, I'd been over a week without a shower due to a broken water pump. It's a good thing I never go anywhere or do anything. The pump guy'd found ants in the electrical system of the pump, that'd apparently been attracted to the high frequency of the electricity and marched to their little electric deaths. The build up of dead ants broke the circuit of elecriticity somehow and it stopped pumping water up from underground.
Yeah, I thought it was farfetched too, but because I hadn't showered in over a week, I was thoughtful enough to stand several meters away from him as he fixed it, and since it all works now, I don't really what was broken anymore. I can go right back to taking it for granted.
I saw a scorpion today when I was walking back out of the shower (no sponge-baths in the front yard after all), and was tempted to catch it. For all I see scorpions in some shape or form in media all my life, this is I think only the second one I've seen in real life.
Think I've proven once and for all that I'm the most unintelligent person to talk to over a phone. I really need to destroy my phone, before it somehow becomes an intregal part in the destruction of the world.
