What?! A Gundam? There's a Gundam down here!

Soo.. I went through Youtube a few days ago and looked up all the old Toonami promos I used to see on TV. The old days missed me.

Uh! Been a while since I updated Livejournal. I have so much respect for you who are able to keep all your accounts and blogs up-to-date. You guys are amazing. Let's hang out sometime.. say, Megacon?

Hmm.. there's actually been A LOT going on with me lately. Work's been pretty freakin' crazy, but it looks like we're finally keeping the new girls. The eleventh new girl to work in my department and the ninth to work in bakery haven't quit yet, and they're already out of their training period! Hurrah! I finally get some time off.

Convention/cosplay-wise.. I haven't posted since I attended Janicon, Anime South, and Setsucon. I don't think I could really sum up any of these concisely, so I'll limit myself to one pic each.

My Vash at Janicon! Janicon was crazy for a first-year con, broke state records for first-year attendance. Graham ran the best damned panel/events ever, Miroku & company were there, and as you can see Mabs was the acting photo-ninja.

Me and my brother playing on the beach in my armors. Anime South is getting to be my favorite con, the location is gorgeous, the turnout and cosplayers always amazing, I get to see my old friends from high school and my new friends from cons in the area. Lots of stories here but you wouldn't believe them anyways.

I actually made my own no-budget costume for a change, Pesshe, and stayed behind the booth for the most part and pretended to be a serious vendor. I recognized a surprising amount of people from last year and had a good time. I think this is the con I actually make money at, but I really just don't know any cosplayers in the area.

In other news, I'm mourning the loss of my laptop's battery, which finally passed away. It had been struggling for a long time, fighting to keep me on these internets, but Setsucon was just too much. Every time I bump my power cord now the computer throws up critical power notices and drops the system into hibernation.

Megacon's on the horizon!
