Messi (and the rest of the Argentina National team) has been in DC all week. I chose to stalk him before most of the city figured out he was here. And by stalk I mean, go to the bar in the hotel where he was staying. I'm happy just knowing I was under the same roof!
I was actually hoping to run into Zabaleta when he was walking around town on Monday. In order to yell at him for needing to trade him from my fantasy team every year because he's not getting enough points. And because I hate Man City. I didn't because I had to work.
I'm heading to the game tomorrow. It's always exciting to see soccer of that caliber in person, and I go if I like the team/players or not. It's just an added bonus when I do like someone. In this case, Messi. A lot.
