Harry glared at the top of the tree. He was going to do this. This star was getting there, no matter what.
Just as long as he didn't fall.
As the ladder he was perched on started to sway into the Snape-Potter Christmas tree, Harry felt two hands grab his waist and save him, and his daughters' presents, from certain doom. Once his feet were back on the ground, the green eyed wizard glared up at his husband.
“Fine. You win again.”
Severus chuckled. “You know I always put the star up.”
“Bloody tradition... Just because I'm too short.” Severus brushed a kiss over the messy black hair.
“Not short... Just right.”
