Gil took me to the park yesterday and we had a lot of fun. We played a bit of a game with the ducks when they tried to get out of the pond and eat our snacks.
Other shapes might be difficult without additional people or objects to block their path. It would take a lot of planning, but we might be able to do it. Although I think the ducks might learn after once or twice of being tricked in such a fashion.
Why don't we just take Hana for a walk next time? There are other dogs in the park and she could use another friend besides Wiggins.
We could stop by the Vatis' house and grab Schatzi and Kaiser too. I know Ludwig is usually the one that takes them out, but he's so uptight he never lets them run around and just walks them around the block a few times. They're a lot bigger than that little ball of white fluff that runs around the house stealing my socks and falling asleep on me while I watch tv. Schatzi's old and easy to handle so you can walk him no problem. I'll take Kaiser. He's too much like me and can be a little much to deal with sometimes.
If the ducks at the park couldn't handle us, then they'll shit little quacking bricks when they see these two.
Are they okay with strangers? Or am I going to have to run away like Alliance in Horde territory? Because I'm not terribly fast and I haven't climbed trees since Ti and I were little kids, so I might end up as dog food.
I just got a great idea for a project to write up for the younger science classes! HUZZAH! Thanks Gil! I was thinking that I could take notes each time we try to trick the ducks into a shape to see if they are learning, then record the results to test my theory that the more elaborate the shape and the more often we do this, the less likely it is to work...It'll be a good way to get the kids into field work. Sort of have them come up with some similar sorts of experiments that they can all do with a group or partner or something.
I may need you to come with me one class so I can give them a demonstration. Thank you for the brainwave there. You're the best lab partner a guy could ask for.
And since when are you actually going in and teaching these kids? Or do you just not have faith in the teachers to understand even your simple work enough to pass it on? Man...with you helping them, Birdie, there's going to be a freaking army of little brainiacs at this school. No wonder why my Vatis like you already.
The dogs should be fine with you. They're just big. That's all. Kesesesesese...can you still climb trees if you need to though? Might be a good place to hide and make out, ja?
No, I'm not yet. It's just an AP project and such. Since I help with the lesson plans for most of the classes and such, I thought it would be a good idea to give them a fun little project. Got to get the kids working, I suppose.
*returns brofist* Thanks, Ti, for the vote of confidence. It's weird having to re-introduce yourself in a sense to people you are already familiar with.
You better be getting all kinds of AP credits for college from this project Veli, they're taking advantage of you! You're going to be a great science teacher someday, but the key word is SOMEDAY not tomorrow! You're doing work that you're not technically supposed to be qualified to do... you CAN but where is the teaching degree? I wonder how parents would feel to know that their kids' lessons are being planned and taught by someone without a degree. You should be allowed to be young right now and take the time to hang out and have FUN! You're doing school work AND the teacher's work and not getting PAID! Come on Veli, let's storm the Bastille! We should go out and DO SOMETHING! We've not been able to tag team since the nerf fight and Gilbert keeps you locked in that room like you're his favorite concubine! I'm getting jealous of him monopolizing on my best friend! (Better than being jealous of warcraft again though... it looks pathetic when I'm mad at a video game.) We need a chance to be alone and stupid! Doing something MASSIVELY
( ... )
I don't mind helping out, but I do get the feeling that they are taking advantage of me at times. The thing is that I know the kids wouldn't get the same quality of lessons were I to speak up and stop doing what work I AM doing. And I actually really like helping the kids. They need the education in their formative years more than we do at our age and I don't want to see all of that go to waste, even if it means I have to donate my study block time to the cause.
And I agree. We SHOULD do something soon, just the two of us. But what though? That nerf fight was a blast, and what???? I am SO not a girly concubine!! You said it yourself that it's addicting when you first find out what it's like. *blushes deep red* You don't need to skin Gil for it. He's only half to blame.
Just you and me on this adventure this time, Ti. Any ideas? Maybe there's a movie on at the theatre or something...OH! What about lazer tag or go carts? That would be fun.
Hey! I'll have you know that it's not JUST our room, okay? It's hard to keep somebody locked up in the living room and the shower too. Of course he's my favourite concuwhateverthehellyoujustsaid too. I mean...how could he NOT be?
Fine, fine. The womenfolk need their time away from the house, I guess.
OKAY Back to Eduard though, laser tag does sound like fun, fuck we can be all nerdy and pretend we're in the clone war while we do it. Peu peu peu! *laser gun sound effect right there* But basically I'm up for anything really. Right about now I'd even larp with you just to get out of the house! It's been raining since the day before last and I'm tired of being couped up.
Oh you know just what to say to get me going on some wild adventure, Ti. It'll be a crazy blaster battle! (in before, "Han shot first"!) Because of the inclement weather lately, the larp that the crew was going to have at or usual place was canceled, though I think there's a magic tournament over at the comic shop. I don't think that's something you'd be into though.
While the rain was nice for messing around with the ducks, it's not terribly great for many other things. I would have suggested going to the amusement park or something, but lazer tag sounds like a prime plan alternative. I would say I'm tired of being cooped up too, but you know me. I can be a bit of a hermit. Now there's the option for amorous activities without leaving my hobbit cave? Jaa...I need to get out before I start growing roots. Thanks, veli.
I'd go with you to the comic shop, but I don't know how to play nor has ceiling Tino any of the cards.
I haven't been able to go out and do much in the rain, and I've been doing homework and I'm just plain tired and need some fun with my Veli! Later in the afternoon or tomorrow's cool with me in case you have any lesson plans you need to finish up. I think I have one last homework assignment. (We all know it's probably best to do our work before we play. Berwald has been too good of an influence on me! I'm not as lazy anymore!)
I was fine with whenever you wanted to do your work as long as when you finally did it, you did it WELL. If you need help with it, just let me know and I'll pop down the hall and see what I can do.
You know...we haven't gone puddle-jumping in YEARS. That used to be fun when we were little. With all the growing up we've been doing well beyond our years in the last while, I feel a day of youthful, frivolous fun is in order. We can always wash up later.
Plus, I don't think I'm ready to go to the comic shop again just yet. Things might be awkward, and I don't want us to have to worry about that. The two of us should be having fun and not worrying about those things.
I call for puddle jumping! Once you've finished your work, grab your boots and let's go!
I'm doing... alright. I have an A in a few classes, but otherwise I'm a straight B student. Biology isn't too bad. We're starting reproduction. Eggs and Sperms and... well... soon we're going to watch that Inside the Womb documentary and I don't know if I should be excited or worried. I'm almost excited to see a baby being born, it's gotta be cool, but I'm worried and hope the coolness of it is enough to cancel out the gross.
Ye gods! I've seen that thing and it is horrendous! She has the bush of a 70's porn star. The process of childbirth is interesting in concept, but most definitely NOT in visuals. Definitely makes me glad I do not have the proper equipment for such an endeavor. I highly advise you to not eat anything before watching that film or it may end up on your desk.
Given who our significant others are, I would say that we are both already fairly well versed in the processes of human copulation.
Should we try for another shape next time? Or maybe hide in the tree and jump out in ambush?
