Waiting for a phone to call
Tryouts are done as of tomorrow for the show, and now I've got about a week of sitting here wondering "Did I get it? Was I good enough to make the cut?" I don't know if either of those questions can be answered in the positive, but you know what? I did my best, and that's good enough for me.
The trip itself was awesome, although the drive there was a bit of a bitch. BTW, anytime you have to drive over 10 hrs, get the car a day early. Just a tip. I have to throw out major props to my homes here; if it wasn't for them calling me, or being there for me to call, about every hour and a half, I might not have made it intact. Once I got there, on the other hand, everything was great. Saw 300 on Sat evening, then went to a club afterwards. Sunday was the day I finally fulfilled my pledge. I got to see the Air & Space Museum, and none of the planes crushed me, so that was good too. Went out on Sunday, and just messed around until it was time to pack everything in. Then 8am Monday I left, and after a quick stopover at Odon, came home to group hugs and three more days of vacation. Now it's back to the grind, but who knows what this week could bring ;^D
