Quick Update
G indeed went for his surgery at 6:30 AM this morning, which means a few good things--1) they were on schedule, and 2) nothing bad happened overnight. Yay!
He'd never been hospitalized before or had any surgery, so 'the mothers and me' were all a bit worried but it looks like from the nurse's description, he's doing well though groggy. He's out of recovery, and I'll be going to see him shortly.
Thanks for all your warm wishes! As for the assignment, that is about 95% my bad and 5% inconvenienced by surgery--I had two months to get started on it, and had planned a marathon three-day session to work on it this week. Note to self: LAST MINUTE = BAD. However, I went over the assignment itself this morning and it's a lot less scary than I expected! There's even a MAXIMUM page count ;) So, it may not be the best work I've ever produced, but I am certain I can get it done adequately if not well in the time I have left.
Which is good, considering I just checked my academic mail and found out I have a Psychology test due this weekend now, too. SIGH.
