STAB STAB STAB STAB Hi.
I understand that you're trying to reach me. I find it amusing that, out of the TWO HOURS I am unavailable (and, technically, that's an hour and 40 minutes, because I have ten minutes to get to and from class, during one of which, I returned your call(s)), you have called me a grand total of five times. Twice in the space of two minutes (WTF), once ten minutes later--and I made the unprecedented decision to walk out of class to take it, but you hung up before I got the chance, leaving no voice mail message. Then, when I called back, no one was available to talk to me, and I left the message that from 11-12, I would be unavailable. Thank you, then, for calling me back at 11:30. When I got home at 12:30 (incidentally, while you're at lunch from 12-1, your 'message taking service' simply instructs us to call back, refusing to actually, you know, take a message not that my message wasn't going to be 'Look, I SAID I wouldn't be able to answer the phone from 11-12, and so help me God, if someone gets snippy at me for not answering...'), there was a message on my home phone, as well.
I know it's just crossed wires and they're genuinely trying and I appreciate that, I just foresee getting attitude for having the audacity of being in college for two hours out of my day, and it's not like my hormone levels are all that stellar for the purposes of NOT HAVING MOOD SWINGS as it is.
It doesn't help that, despite my knowing generally why they're calling me, I'm worried about the necessity of calling me five times in an hour and a half, and twice in the space of two minutes. To me, that reads as 'urgent,' I dunno why I'd be silly enough to think that, though...
On to fannish things, I really want to sign up for
sga_santa but I worry that I have a reputation as unreliable, thanks to my two month 'BAHAHAHHAA YOU WANTED TO WRITE SOMETHING?! BAHAHAHAHAH' dry spell. My possibly irrational insecurities, let me show you them.
Good LORD it's cold in here*. All I want to do is sleep, and yay for warm blankets and heaters--but BOO for needing to sit by the phone pining for the doctor to call back.
In conclusion: *SIGHHHHHH*
*really, really cold (comparatively). The house is the same temp. as the setting for the furnace, but where it'll kick in during those circumstances for the air conditioning, I fear it has to drop below for the heat to come on. Drat.
