Whenever you start feeling too insecure, or worried about your self-worth, remember this:
Your husband married an immature, petulant woman with severe depression and deplorable personal hygiene, who had no sense of ambition or life priorities--someone who consistently screamed and threw fits over misunderstandings she refused to recognize and simple things that weren't worth the fussing.
All that, and what he told you was: I know you'll be better someday.
All that, and he never yelled, pushed, or abused his position in your relationship in order to force a change--the change that has happened.
In case you're ever stupid enough to question it, that's love. Life is good. Life is very good.
