The hardest thing about being a veteran player isn't the extra conditioning so you can compete with all the young guys coming up year after year.

It isn't being the team mom when your team goes into a part of the season so many of them have never seen.

The hardest thing is looking around the room at the kids who had to watch another team celebrate winning the Cup on their ice.

You guys were great and you're only going to get better. Know that.
