1,000

Tonight, I played in my 1,000th career NHL game. Everyone asks me what it's like and did I ever think I'd get here... and to be completely honest I don't have an impressive answer. It's a hell of a milestone and I can't believe I'm now part of the club that can say they are millienium members of the league. At the same time, it's gone by so fast. And everyone was making such a fuss with the ceremony.. I'm used to coasting under the radar. Because that means I'm doing my job.

That being said, I want to thank my family, my teammates, and the organization for making tonight so special for me before the game. It does mean a lot to me even though I might not be the most flashy or outspoken guy on the bench.

Here's hoping I have another 1,000 in me, eh?
