I'm Not Trying to Spread Rumors; I'm Trying to Stop Them (or maybe get them confirmed?)
- Okay, I saw a long time ago that Darren and Mia were a couple. I saw this right around the same time that people were saying that he and Alanna were a couple, that he and Dianna were a couple, etc., etc., ad nauseum. I hadn't heard anymore about he and Mia until the big deal was made that they had stopped following each other on Twitter, so that must've meant they'd broken up. I thought to myself, "Ummmm, when did they become a couple?" So, what I'm asking is: Are they actually a couple?
- Starting tonight--at least, this is the first time I've seen them, but I wasn't on Tumblr yesterday--there have been posts to Tumblr of Darren pictured with kids referring to him as a father. This last one I saw was a tweet from Chris Colfer saying, "Happy father's day to all the daddies and papas out there, especially this one @DarrenCriss and there was a link to a picture of him playing in the sand on the beach with two blonde toddlers.
My policy has always been not to believe anything about a celebrity until I hear the celebrities announce it themselves or I see an interview with them in a reputable magazine/site such as ETOnline, Entertainment Weekly, People, etc. Even if I see pictures of Darren kissing or hugging someone, that is not proof to me because he kisses and hugs lots of people because he's just a big ol' teddybear of a guy. Okay...tiny teddybear of a guy...but he's wonderfully affectionate, and that's a large part of what makes him so darned adorable.
Now, myself? I won't be upset at all if the above rumors turn out to be true. All I care about is that Darren be happy and that he find someone who gives him that happiness. Other than that, whomever he's with is none of my business.
The only reason I'm asking is it's all over Tumblr, especially this thing that he has kids, and such things can be harmful if they aren't true. Darren could start getting hate mail saying things like, "How DARE you have kids? You can't possibly spend the time with them that they deserve," yada, yada, yada. Lots of celebs get that kind of crap, even from their "fans." So, if this stuff isn't real but is getting passed around as if it is...we've got a problem.
So, please, could someone tell me whether or not either of these things is true? Thanks.
