Just some random ramblings...
The Fourth Conjecture is coming up this weekend, one of the 2 of San Diego's local annual sci-fi/fantasy conventions.
I did manage to get Friday off work, so that's a plus... especially since I'm on a panel Friday at 5pm. It's a panel about hosting fannish parties, like the quarterly San Diego Fandom Gathering that I host at my house, the Polar Den (next one is October 22 starting at 4pm)
I had a complete physical this morning at the doctor's office... except being overweight and slightly high blood pressure, I'm pretty healthy. We'll see how the bloodwork comes back in a few days. I've got another appointment on the 11th with an orthopedic specialist to see how come I have pain in my elbow (arthritis is the likely suspect) and he asked me to get my XRays from my doctor. My Dr's office doesn't have them, though... all they have is the synopsis from the radiology department at the hospital, so I will have to drop by there to pick up my XRays before my appointment on the 11th.
