Well, I've come to a decision
re: the Dr. Phil Show.
I tried to call them back to bleed some more info out, but always got voicemail, and I sure as hell wasn't going to leave a message. I was calling to get more info from them, not to leave them more info.
I don't run a furry convention anymore, so I certainly don't need the publicity.
Some of the possible outcome scenarios of me going on their show are as follows:
* I might say something that gets clipped wrong, which ends up hurting others or embarrassing myself.
* I might be too boring for them, and my appearance gets clipped altogether.
* They might put someone up against me who is a whack-job or someone who lies to get more attention, making me sound like I'm in denial or oblivious to the facts.
* Try as I might to make furry sound "interesting" instead of "Wierd" it might just sound more wierd when I'm done. I'm not the greatest speaker.
None of the scenarios I could think of would benefit me in any way. I have NOTHING to gain by going on the show as some of you have stated (I already suspected as much, which is why I posted the original question here for feedback).
The decision: I will not call them back. I don't need the headache.
