Timing is everything...
Last year at ComicCon, I purchased a full membership for this year, knowing that the trend was that it was going to sell out early and that comp memberships will be hard to come by.
I was right. That was kind of easy to predict.
However, there's no predicting when my employer is going to want me to head to a trial. I found out yesterday morning that I need to fly this Friday to Washington, DC to prep all weekend for a 5-day ITC hearing that starts on Monday.
This means that I won't be in town for the start of ComicCon... but I will be back in San Diego by Saturday afternoon, July 24, so at least I will be able to see *some* of ComicCon.
