Schedule for my 2-weeks of vacation coming up
June 27: Riding BabyDragon from San Diego to Cedar City, UT. Staying the night at a friend's house.
June 28: Riding from Cedar City to Vail, CO. Staying in a Hotel room.
June 29: Riding from Vail to Grand Island, NE. Staying in a Hotel room.
June 30: Riding from Grand Island to Des Moines.
June 30-July 4: Attend WingDing32 with 8,000 or so fellow 'Wingers.
July 4: Riding south to the town of Exline, Iowa and spend the day there. There will be fireworks at the Exline Country Store and a 4th of July celebration. (Yes... I will take plenty of pictures in front of places that have the Exline name on them... but the Town of Exline is only 1 square mile, with 192 residents as of the 2000 Census.) I might have to find a campsite nearby... There are no hotels or boarding rooms in Exline, IA, but I will have my camping gear with me in the trailer.
July 5: Riding from Exline Iowa to Oklahoma City, OK. Hotel room.
July 6: Riding from OK City to Albuquerque, NM. Staying at a friends' house, I think... I need to double-check that. I might stay July 7 there as well, depending.
July 8 (or 7): Riding Back to Cedar City, staying with another friend (I hope). If I arrive on the 7th, I'd like to spend the day of the 8th in Cedar City driving around Utah just for the beauty of it.
July 9: Riding from Cedar City back to San Diego. Heading home to sleep in my own bed... It's also my Birthday.
July 10: Wake up early to attend the GoldWing Road Riders Association, Chapter CA1F meeting at the Broken Yolk in Pacific Beach. This is the regular monthly meeting, and time to share road-trip stories with my fellow San Diego area 'Wingers.
