The Doc said it looks like it's healing fine. I had him print out one of the digital X-Rays from the day of the injury:
(Sorry for the poor scan, and too bad he didn't have any way to copy it to my flash memory stick.)
As you can see, the fracture was very small, at the very bottom edge of my tibia (The shinbone) just to the side of where it connects to the ankle, which is why my ankle still worked and I was able to walk into the emergency room.
There are 2 screws holding that piece back up in place, about 2-inches long each, going upward into my tibia. I saw them on today's X-Ray (film-based, so I don't have a copy to put online) and was surprised at how long they were. I might have a problem at airport security in the future. ;)
I think it's absolutely amazing that it will only be 4 weeks since the injury this saturday. I've been walking limping WITHOUT crutches and WITHOUT a walking boot for a week already... I've avoided doing any walking at all if I don't have to, though.
I really want to get back on BabyDragon... maybe tomorrow if I have the nerve. The Doc doesn't see any problem with that as long as I don't work my ankle too hard and wear boots that will keep my foot from rolling inward.
The Touring Boots I ordered last week are still on back-order... the retailer said they should arrive any day now. I might just put on a pair of high-tops for riding... we'll see how I feel in the morning about that.
