Unlike the tripe you will see on MSNBC who just can't seem to cut away from the John Edwards sex scandal...
The country of Georgia (not the state on our eastern seaboard, the country over in Europe) is basically at war with Russia.
Yes, I said "war" as in they are shooting each other and such.
Bush and Putin who were both in China for the Olympics' opening ceremonies discussed the issue briefly. Bush has stated that the United States recognizes Georgia's status as a sovereign nation.
Georgia can conceivably petition NATO for assistance... and if granted, it's very possible that US troops (under NATO command) will be going to war against Russia.
How's that for an eye-opener.
Do you think Obama has the experience needed to manage this scenario? I know that McCain does.
Guess who gets my vote in November?
