When I'm not at work... and not asleep (which is only like 1 or 2 hours per day, lately) I've been busy compiling all the Party Room requests for
Loscon next weekend.
Well, this year, I'm actually 3 days ahead of last year's (last-minute) shuffling... which was finding out which parties would be willing to move into non-party-floor rooms for the nights they are not hosting a party... which didn't get finalized until about 11pm Wednesday night pre-con last year.
All I'm waiting for now is word from one more saturday-only party that they can wait until Saturday afternoon to move onto the party floor, and my pre-convnetion job is just about done. After that, I get to tell them all their room numbers, send the list to the newsletter staff, and then meet them at the convention to let them know how to get ice and stuff like that.
(BTW, the Pension trial doesn't go into session until this afternoon, which is why I am able to type this from my desk at work this morning... worked all weekend in Mike Aguirre's war room preparing for next week's closing arguments for Phase-1 of the trial)
