Mind your beeswax

I HATE being questioned about the things I do. I know I'm a bit odd and some of my decisions might not make sense outside of my own head. However, it's not the oddball things I do that get questioned. I get challenged on some of the dumbest things. Here's of list of obnoxious questions I've been asked recently:

  1. Why are you putting a hamburger in the microwave?
  2. Don't you know it will take a long time to grow your hair out?
  3. Why do you have "Midnight Train To Georgia" on your iPod?
  4. You're going to a concert by yourself?
  5. You know you wore that shirt three weeks ago?
  6. Did you mean to peel that apple?
  7. Don't you think you're getting a little too thin?

After years of being polite and explaining myself, I have had enough. I have recently started treating people as if they have just said the stupidest thing in the entire history of stupid things. When appropriate (like when talking to The Girlfiend), I'll even add "That is the dumbest question I've ever heard." to the sarcastic and dismissive attitude.

And it feels great. I've turned the tables. No longer do I have to feel like I'm a freak because I don't like the purple Skittles™. I reccommend everyone take this up.
