Oi, girls! Before I start, this is strictly between Us Lot - let anything slip and you'll have me to answer to, see?
Now, I know we're stodgy old fifth formers now, but I've been thinking it's high time we had a bit of fun again! Just us, I mean, without any of those squabbling little geese like Daphne and Gwendoline. So, what I thought was: let's have a midnight feast! A feast to end all feasts! It's my birthday next week, as I hope you've all remembered, so I'll have money, of course, and the rest of you can jolly well pitch in a few tins or something as well. Between us we should be able to sort something pretty decent out!
I say, though - make sure you don't say anything to the others, won't you? Daphne would be sure to go to Moira or someone about it, and spoil everything, and I really do want this to be fun! As for when to hold it - is next Thursday night all right by you lot? Miss Potts is going out, I heard Matron saying so at supper, so we should be pretty safe. Any suggestions for where to hold the thing? Let me know!
