Quickie
I'm making brownies. These will be to include with the dinner I'm making to take to my mother tomorrow, because she's not eating well where she is and the food there is really terrible. Hopefully, roast pork, whipped potatoes, fresh beans, and brownies will perk up her appetite.
Anyway, so I put the brownies in the oven. Then, because my timer is broken (for some reason, those cheap timers don't like it when a cat perpetually knocks it off the top of the stove and after about six months of this treatment, damn it, they just stop working!) I have to do this by the clock. So, I look at the clock and figure out the done time.
The brownies will be done at 4:20.
Sometimes life makes me chuckle and this is one of those times.
