so one of my best friends from X just emailed me pics of herself holding up 'happy bday' signs...and even made a HOME VIDEO with her wishing me a happy bday and good luck in japan. i cant believe it....so nice...and that's after i forgot hers last month.
and the family i live with here are going nuts for it too. all this great food: a HOMEMADE Reese's ice cream cake!...caramel/cinnamon buns...yummy dinner...and maybe best of all: a strawberry margherita BUCKET. so pumped. it's nice to be appreciated. it feels like for so many years, my birtday has been overshadowed by other things, but this year, it is so nice that people are making an effort. especially after having a rough time at work. long story, but i am frusterated with a particular parent, who i'm worried is attempting other parents to follow in her revolt. i am at the end of my rope, and don't deserve this, but i keep repeating 10 more DAYS!
