so a just had 3 friends come and visit here in m-town. it was my first vistitors since i've arrived, and it was so nice. i didn't know where to show them tho, as i've explored so little myself, but we had a good time. it was nice to hang out, even for just a couple hours with girls my age, and not 10 year olds or 40 year olds.
going home in a couple weeks and i can't wait. i guess i'm just missing my parents, we talk about once a week, and i'm usually exhausted, but i woudl really like to see them. i also want to see my mom's new condo and help her decorate. she is spending her summer berak decorating and i'm sad i'm missing out. o, she bought a cowboy hat. my mom! with a cowboy hat!
i miss them more now than i did in NS, which may be because they are so close, but still inaccessible. i hope i won't miss them too bad in japan. i wish they could visit. but my mom doesn't like asia and doesn't think i will either, and doesn't think i should go. instead, they bought a huge, skinny TV to hang on the wall for about the same price of a trip for two to visit me in japan. kinda disheartening. i should bug them about it.
