All right, this will be quick cause I'm at work.
I just saw the best band ever last night!
A few lessons I learned from last night:
Apparently it takes 3 hours to get from Cincinnati to Louisville when you go to see a concert at Freedom Hall.
Parking at Freedom Hall sucks!
A long ride to Luisville is 100 times more fun with an ADD 23 year old in the back seat! (Who was 5 foot nothing.)
Where do all the 40+'s come from???
Some people mistake a Coldplay concert for a bar where you go to fluant yourself and pick up guys.
Drunk people are funny- I usually don't like this phrase, because I don't like luaghing at the expense of someone's stupidity, but I have got to tell ya, the guy next to me and steve, Dante, is what made our night. He was just crazy, singing every lyric, being all touchy feely, and just really rockin out in a very uncontrolled way. It was awkward at first, because, you know, being a Coldplay concert and all, I didn't know if he was gay and hitting on me, but then I just realized his touchy feeliness came from the alcohol, and it became a lot of fun!
I love it when Chris Martin sings Johnny Cash!
Apparently could play supports fair trade, but definitely doesn't do anything about unfair prices at the merchandise table. 45 dollars for a tee shirt! Are you sure that wasn't in pacos?
Chris Martin's hair looks like mine when I grow it out.
So yeah, probably the biggest highlights of the show were definitely wacthing Martin flub up the words to the intro of Xand Y. He also messed up coming in on the right beat of "Till Kingdom Come." At this point, he had blantantly messed up twice, so he got mad at himself and major profanities just slipped out of his mouth! It was really funny, especially because he apologized for it. I also really enjoyed when he ran to the back of the arena at the end of In My Place. There set list was so flowing and solid! The show was incredibly amazing! Definitely worth the entire 45 dollars the ticket cost!
Anyways, last night was an absolute blast. Everyone needs to go watch the best band ever just once!
