Yesterday was one of my most memeroable Christmas days ever, it was so different!
I found that there is actually practical educational signifigance to A Christmas Story. If you ever need to grab food out on Christmas, check the Chinese places! Yes folks, I ate at a Chinese Buffet yesterday and it was amazing! They had excellent crab legs! But definitely no duck or "Fra ra la la la!"
I didn't have a gift exchange with my family, becuase my bros are in Florida, so we'll do it next week.
Christina and I exchanged gifts on Christmas eve and yesterday. The highlights were a red stocking full of toiletries, a new Donald Miller Book and a book on Facing Criticism, and the Rent Movie SOundtrack. Talk about a rocking soundtrack! I gave her a gift certificate with enough money to get two tickets to any show she wants to go to! I think she wants to go to wicked. I also gave her an elsa perreti look alike bracelet from target that matches one of her necklaces. Last night was fun because one present I gave her had a stuffed, white fluffy dogget and the Mulon Rouge DVD. I also gave her a Yankee candle inside a box I made out of a 12 pack of Coke. Even though it was corny, she respected it because it had the COca Cola Bear on it!
My mom gave season 7 of the Simpsons on Dvd! That's been a blast so far.
Mom, grandpa and I went over to Christina's family for a Brittish Christmas dinner, complete with Yorkshire pudding, and those corny cracker things. you open the cracker, and inside of it is a goofy hat that you have to wear during dinner, a joke, and a small toy. It was a blast.
Oh yeah, to top it all off, Christina and I recieved plane tickets to Disney for June! And a really cool Nativity set!
Yeah, definitely a great Christmas! I feel extremely blessed.
Merry Christmas, it's not a lie that the savior of the universe was born 2000 years ago!
