Yeah, I still like Christian music

The fam and Steve came in to hear me preach tonight. I'm so glad they had a chance to see what I've been doing all summer.

Spirit Song was amazing. There is nothing like hearing thousands of people sing a medley of praise songs accapella on a beautiful summer evening.

Seriously, I know a lot of people are just straight up crabby about Christian music, but from a ministry stand point, why should we be? Yeah, a lot of it's not original, but it's not about the music. Yeah, maybe Christian music isn't a very succesful outreach tool, but not everything that is beneficial in ministry has to do with outreach. I think Christian music really brings the people of God together, and has served as something that truly lifts them up and inspires them. IF that's the part that Christian music plays within the body of believers, than that's great. It doesn't need to be a succesful outreach, but think of all the teens in youth groups, who have had their lives impacted, or all the new adult believers, who get to turn on the radio and get feed the word of GOd through music. It's really not a bad thing.

Yeah, and Toby MAc was the diggity bomb. I loved that his album is called diverse city, and that his band consisted of black and white people, and that his music sometimes is really pop rock, other times it's real party rap. It's a pretty cool thing, plus it was so fun to watch them live.

I love Christina.

I found out that engaged couples that are virgins talk about sex a lot!

There's a lot to look forward to in marriage when you don't sleep together, live together, and do all the married things before your married.
