Beckett got a little bit of money for this birthday from Aunt Bibby and Nanny. So, on Saturday we headed to Planet Comic for a little retail excitement. When it comes to things like picking out a toy, Beckett is exactly like Basil. He has to look at every. single. item.in. the. store. before he can make his decision. So, if you're shopping with him, you better plan for it to be an all day affair. You might even want to pack a snack.
After much deliberation, and lots of talking to himself about the pros and cons of each action figure, Beckett finally picked out a Batman and a Robin. They're really cool! And he proudly took them to the cash register and paid for them with his own money.
Planet Comic is as close to heaven as you can get in Anderson as far as Beckett is concerned.
