I was going to buy Midnight Stranger, but then I decided to keep that money toward buying Ten Count and Hidoku Shinaide on digital~

I actually went a head and bought hidoku shinaide on both print and digital after that. I am still unsure about Ten Count if I want the print version too.

I know how you feel about the start of hidoku shinaide with the non-con and I think SuBLime's translations for this scene is a little less pushy??? idk, it maybe just me thinking like that. But I didn't skip that scene so lets put it that way. But yes I agree, vol 3 on-wards is what I like too!! Oh! Also there are, "dude" and "bro" in sublime's version and no honorifics, which I was gutted about... but other than those add-ons of teenage slang it was an OK translation?

I got my 2-in-1 edition of VIZ's KuroBasu!! I haven't had the time to look over the translation yet, so I can't comment on if the English edition is any good or not (yet) lol

Wishful thinking on my behalf: Next on my list is to finally try and buy KnB on BD OTL;; I will never be rich!

Especially as Bungou Stray Dogs and Joker Game goods are coming out so fast and Prince of Stride and now Natsume! OTL

I like digital editions a lot because you can actually "test" the product without having to spend too much money and, if you like it, then you can buy it in print version. I guess I will end up buying Hidoku, I don't think I'll be able to resist. xD
I know what you mean with the teenage slang, the same thing happend to me with the spanish version of Doukyuusei, I was a bit put off because of the slang but it was a pretty OK translation overall. When it comes to english translations it usually doesn't bother me too much when it's too americanized or with too much slang because it's not my native language, so I don't really know the standard/neutral english; I've learnt english on my own so I've picked up things from here and there; I guess my english must be a real mess. xD

I'm looking forward to reading your opinion on the translation for KnB. :)

I don't know why the English translators have to add slang in the first place? I can't get my head around it tbh.. I guess it just is a part of the English language by now, but it still seems wrong when added to Japanese manga??? idk xD

Yes! I am hoping to actually read my copy of KnB to see what the translation is like. I am expecting slang in this for sure lmao but VIZ usually have good translations as long as they don't change the names of the GOM's bball power plays or Kagami's it should be a good read! I will get around to writing up my opinions as well! :)
