Last purchases of the year.
I meant to post this much earlier but, to be honest, I've been really lazy since the cold weather started.
Well, the thing is that a few weeks ago I received some mangas that I wanted to share here. :)
I received all the volumes of Kenban no Ue no Caress. It's not my fave from Fujitani Youko, but still a nice read (at least the few things that I can understand XD)
I really liked that we get to take a peek Into the future of two of the characters from Borderline (an older work by the same author): Maki and Shizuka. I loved that the author decided to draw them again as a oneshot at the end of the second volume. Shizuka is not so cute anymore, but he has grown up to be a really handsome fellow. ^^ I would have loved to see Chiaki and Mizoguchi, too, I loved their story.
I also bought some titles of SuBLime:
I really wanted to own Haru wo Daiteita, I can't wait to buy the next volumes, too.
Honey Darling was very Akira Norikazu's style, the kitten was really cute. ^^ I'd love to see Heart Strings licensed, it's my fave title of hers.
And in regards to Spiritual Police, I really can't comment much on it seeing as the plot didn't really develop in this first and really short volume. I guess I'll wait to read the second volume to see if I can get into the story or not, I hope it doesn't turn like Platinum Pasta, I really hated that series (was it a series or a oneshot? I can't remember).
I can't wait to get my copies of Kurayami ni Strobe, Doushitemo Furetakunai and Fujitani Youko's newest title, Happy Life. I just saw the cover for this last title and realized one of the characters looks awfully young, guess it will be similar to Rutta to Kodama in that respect.
I'm waiting for two more mangas to arrive, If they do get here before I go to visit my sister, I'll post the pic here. I've been waiting forever to buy them, I'm so excited! ^^
