Exciting Rides and Little Losses

Dear Destinynet,

The past weekend was a blur of events.

1) Improv show. Friday night. I played a very fun character as The Mongoose King. Despite some slow moments, the audience seemingly enjoyed themselves.

2) On Saturday, I went to Six Flags with some of my co-workers. I was in the odd man out in a group of five, and I wasn't having much fun until I bought a FLASH PASS. While the other four in my group were standing in line for Deja Vu, I rode Scream (loved it), Goliath (hated it), and the newest roller coaster, Tatsu, twice. Tatsu was awesome--very similar to the Superman Ride in Georgia. The normal wait for Tatsu was three hours. With the Flash Pass, I had ridden it twice within a matter of ten minutes. I also rode The Viper (boo), The Batman Ride (which is better in Georgia), and The Tidal Wave (It is what it is). We were there from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and by the end of the day I was exhausted and sore from circling the park over and over again. After we left, we went to Claim Jumper for a late supper. And, oh my, the cheese potatocakes, they were heavenly.

3) On Sunday, I went to the mall to buy some new clothes for my headshots, 'cause I'm a baller like that. I didn't find anything, but I'm fairly certain I saw "Eddie Winslow" of Family Matters fame leaving the Gap as I was walking inside. So yeah, be jealous. I'm spending with the big dogs now.

4) Sunday night. The series finale of Charmed. It wasn't the greatest episode ever, but it was nice to have a happy ending. It's the end of an era. Both my favorite music group, Destiny's Child, and my favorite television show are no more. And even though both these losses are frivolous, they still make me sad.

But that's life. Nothing lasts forever.

Anyway, those are pretty much the highlights, I reckon.

X-men comes out this Friday, and I'm super stoked. I hate the movies, but I love the X-men.

I Wish I Could Go Back,

Navaris
