Or last night too. Friday night started out with me going to the Greek Picnic and eating hotdogs with people. Then I went to dinner with Kim and Lucy. Steve dropped in and joined us when we were almost done. He came to our table just in time for a rice fight.

I needed some pictures printed off, so I walked with Charles to the 24-hour Kinko’s. We came back to the dorms by 8:30 and sat around & talked in the ground floor lounge in MLH (the other dorm). I went back to my room a little after nine, and just lounged around talking to people via IM. Steve came by after eleven and hung around. Lucy went up to Nate’s room to watch movies, and I went over to Steve’s. I watched one movie in his dorm, and fell asleep during the second. Steve fell asleep too, because at 3:45 his next door neighbour came in and made a comment on how we were on opposite sides of the futon. The door was open, so anyone could have come in, but just his neighbour did. Steve’s roommate was at home for the weekend and wasn’t there.

I walked back over to RWJ at 4 am and found David and Kim out in front. David is a pledge for Triangle Fraternity, and last night Triangle made hurricane drinks and watched Rita on the weather channel and on CNN. David was plastered, Kim wasn’t. The only reason why Kim was still sober was that she’d fallen asleep and didn’t wake up to David’s knocking on her door when he came to get her. The three of us were out in front of RWJ (the only ones outside at the time), when three older guys came up to us and asked us if we went to MSOE. We said yeah, because I was wearing a MSOE sweatshirt and we were, after all, sitting in front of the dorms. They were dunk, but claimed to be MSOE alumni. We chatted with them for a bit before I went back to my room for sleep.

This morning DA and I were planning on going to the Milwaukee Art Museum for our humanities class. The only problem was that Al’s Run was today and the entire area round the art museum was closed off. With that option closed off, and DA trapped in the city (freeways were closed off and DA is a commuter), we hung out in the CC building playing pool, foose ball, and chess. Then we went back to my room and talked, then went out and had lunch. He walked me back to my building, we made plans for the next two weekends, and I went up to my room.

Lucy had been at a rugby game in the morning, and between the time when she came back and I came back she’d decorated our room with birthday balloons and streamers. Now it’s time to leave for some AOE thing. We’ll see how this thing works.
