(no subject)
Last night I needed something to do. There wasn’t much going on. Kim, Lucy, and I went to the Kern Center (MSOE’s gym that was just finished last year) and played volleyball for a bit. Nicky came and joined us until Lucy and I had to leave for the peer mentor dinner.
The peer mentor dinner was alright. There was free food, pasta-stuff, and then dessert. We also got free tickets for a movie tonight. We pick the movie and then get a free ticket, large popcorn, and large soda. That’s something to look forward to for tonight.
As we were walking back to our dorms from dinner we see everyone outside of RWJ (where my dorm is) million around. Turns out someone pulled the fire alarm. I either know who pulled the alarm or he is a liar.
There were some fireworks last night from Somerset. Lucy and I had an okay view from our window. I kept falling asleep till I woke up at eleven. Lucy had gone out for a run by herself, but I didn’t know where she’d gone. BJ dropped in, and then Amie came in. Amie was having problems with the computer methods and applications skills assessment, so I printed out a paper copy for both of us and the three of us left my room to go get it. BJ is an annoying person. I don’t mind him, but Amie doesn’t like him. She told him if he didn’t quit acting so energetic she’d punch him in the face. We got to the stairs and there were two guys getting ready to up the stairs. One of the guys held the door open for us and his friend went through, then BJ, then me, followed by Amie and the guy who held open the door. Amie was upset with BJ, so in order to escape she asked the two guys if she could go with them. BJ and I went back to my room. A few minutes later Amie came back to my room and said she was going to work on homework in the guy’s room but the guys were going to watch a movie and would I like to some along? I said yes, BJ left, and Amie and I went down to the first floor where the two guys were. Bobby and Keith (or was it Kevin?) were their names. Bobby watched Fight Club, I kinda watched Fight Club (I hi behind my hand - it was so bloody), Keith/Kevin played on his computer and Amie played on her computer. We left about 1:15 AM. The RA on the first floor actually checks to see if there are girls on the floor for curfew-thing. That was cool. I’ve been on the eighth floor till three AM, but with the RA so I guess that’s why seeing a RA check who’s on the floor was a novelty.
