Fourth o'July
Happy Post-4 July Everyone!
This morning I worked from 7 till 1-ish. I was supposed to work 7-3 PM but we weren't busy, so I pulled weeds out of the rocks and the cracks in the sidewalks, then left early. I went home and washed my car following work.
I wanted to see a movie so I called Alex and found that he was indeed alive (he was in the Apple Valley parade today for McDonalds). We agreed to meet at the Lakeville 18 Theater to see Star Wars III...only he was 10 min late. By the time he got there I'd been waiting in the lobby for 15 min and wanted to see a different movie. So we saw Batman Begins. Movie with Alex and drive seperately? Bad idea!
Went to Caribou after the movie (Alex went home to do family stuff) and hung out there till they closed at nine. Then Kari and I took my car to Kenwood Trail to watch the fireworks from LHS. I'd never seen the Lakeville fireworks before. Usually I go to the Hastings Country Club and see their fireworks display. Lakeville's was long, but okay. Using a convertible to watch the fireworks? Good idea!
Kari was hungry so we dropped in at Perkins and had some food, put air in the tyers of my car, and then went back to Caribou Coffee so Kari could get her car. Now I'm home, and thus concludes my Monday.
