Wheelchair Days Take Two
Continued from yesterday's post Wheelchair Days.
The hardest part of my short experience in a wheelchair was going places not wheelchair accessible. Getting stuck in the bathroom was not fun, nor was dropping something onto the floor and not being able to reach it. I think the day would have been a lot harder if I'd had to go off-campus, or had a wheelchair all day long.
George said it was weird seeing me in a wheelchair, and it was weird at first being in one, but I got used to it.
The experience was a lot of fun, despite a few difficulties, and I'd recommend doing something like that if you ever get a chance to.
