Here's the post I mentioned about my classes: thoughts after tests.
AE 200 - Statics: There are still sucky 20 minute problems in Statics, but I'm doing really well in that class. If I can keep up with all my homework and such I'm fairly sure the worst I'll have for a grade is an AB (I have an A right now). The test from last Friday was so beautiful I wanted to weep with joy.
PH 110 - Physics of Mechanics: What is it about people from Sweden? That's where my physics teacher is from. He's just so... ick. I got a D on the first test, the class average was a C. George keeps telling me "you didn't fail" but a D is close enough in my opinion. Retaking physics next quarter is a most possible idea.
MA 231 - Calc III: The test wasn't too bad, but I could have done a lot better. I've gotten a BC on all the homework...and I got a BC on the test. I think if I concentrate more on doing homework everyday I could do a lot better.
AE 2211 - Building Construction Methods: I still like this class. I'm learning a lot, and doing okay with all the stuff we've done so far. I ask a lot of questions in the class because sometimes his sentences trail off and you can't tell what he said, so some of the boys in the class get annoyed with me. That's okay. Judging by what the teacher said when he handed back our first lab and an assignment yesterday, I'm doing a lot better then some of the kids in the class. If I keep up the "good work" I'll be able to keep up my A. There is a midterm next Wednesday, but I'm not worried.
TC 453 - Intercultural Communications: There have been no real things for a grade in the class, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too hard to get an A in the class. I'd be a lot more confident though if we had assignments or something else like that.
I'm ready for the quarter to be over and Winter Term to start. I'm really really ready for Schedular 2000 to open up, along with what classes are being offered next term.
