Japanese Onsen
Lastnight my class went to a Japanese Onsen (bath house). It was a particularily touristy one, but it was exceptionally nice. This place is in Odaiba, which is a man-made island (?) in Tokyo. In the circumstance that there was a devistating earthquake in Tokyo, Odaiba would completely "liquify" as according to Kyle Cleaveland at Temple University. It was pretty fun dressing up in Yukata and eating delicious Japanese food....I especially liked my kinako mochi vanilla sunday with caramel and a cherry on top.
