I'm not nessicarily anti-republican as I do believe in checks and balances and, at best, both parties have something to bring to the table.

Pretty much. Checks and balances are needed - and I'll even say the extreme views have their place. But while the majority of the GOP ISN'T the extreme, the VOCAL majority is. And that needs to end. Because that's not going to bring balance, it's going to bring destruction.
