Death Note recs - as the post says, the summaries alone contain spoilers for the manga. It's almost impossible to find or write a DN fic without spoiling something. Either you spoil some events of the first arc, the ending of the first arc, events and characters of the second arc, or the ending of the whole manga. Then again, if you don't know even roughly what happens, you've probably been living under a rock in a dark, deep forest.
Added some Saiyuki and Naruto recs. Well, actually, those asterisk-fics are from two latest updates because I'm not sure if I mentioned the former or not.
I've yet to read the Bleach fics blueutopiah recced but I'm sure I'll do it eventually!

Probably once I'll stop watching Kyou Kara Maou. *snicker* I've laughed so hard to some of the more... special elements of it.
I mean, the whole series begins when the hero, Yuuri, is flushed down a toilet (instead of the typical mysterious books or wells), finds out he's the next Maou and accidentally gets engaged with another pretty boy who Does Not Share. The best spy the heroes have is a tall, muscular man who likes to crossdress, and the more often than not hysteric magician/advisor is hopelessly in love with His Majesty (the same voice actor does Kakashi from Naruto *cracks up*). Then there's the hero's sword which is the most hilarious, useless magical object I've seen in ages and macho pirates who wear sailor suits like the girls in Sailor Moon.
It's definitely not the plot (though KKM has some of that, too) but the comedy that keeps me watching. The characters are pretty and likable, and there's enough gay jokes and jokes in general to choke a horse. There's even a handsome prince soldier on a white horse rescuing Yuuri!
I also have the whole Gakuen Heaven anime of which I've watched four episodes. Pretty!
