So...here's to the start of a totally sick spring break!
...If by sick, you mean like...it makes me sick on the inside whenever I think about the fact that I'm stuck on campus for the whole break. Boo.
I guess it won't be that bad. Even though I don't get to go home, and I have long ass rehersals every day, and I don't have much money for food left on my one card...it still won't be terrible. At least I don't have class for a week. At least I still get to go out at night and do fun stuff. At least my legs aren't being slowly nibbled off by a bunch of tiny hampsters.
See? I can be optimistic about it.
Sigh.
Anyway...here's what I've done today to commemorate the start of my spring break. (This is probably an example of what the rest of the week promises to look like)...
Went to rehersal for at least 5 hours...got my costume fitted. Which was interesting. My costume is like, one of those crazy victorian era dresses that looks like it's made out of heavy floral drapes. Heavy blue and pink floral drapes with little tiny bows. And I have to wear these crazy bucket things on my hips to make the dress stick out...and a corset...and this little tiny lacy undergarment that's going to show in the scene where I'm "undressed"...and through which you can definitely see my nipples.
If anybody happens to see the show on the same night as my dad does, make a mental note that he will be the guy in the audience who simultaneously has a heart attack, a stroke, and major brain combustion and then topples onto the floor mid love-making scene. I am looking forward to that.
As for the rest of my day...I got back to my room at 4, fell asleep, and then after I woke up spent the following couple hours downloading such bands as The Velvet Underground, The Yardbirds, Simon and Garfunkel, and various songs from "Nightmare Before Christmas"
Then I had a cleaning freak-out and re-organized my whole closet and deep-cleaned the majority of our room while I watched "Legally Blonde" and "Runaway Bride" on TBS. Quality.
Well...I guess I better get crackin' on those lines. Gotta have 'em down by Monday.
*This entry really has nothing to do with supply and demand or utility, I just like to bring them up every now and then because they are the only things I remember from AP econ and it makes me feel smart to mention them.
