No one even drinks here

So I spent thanksgiving alone with Dolly because of her traumatic accident. She got away from me on a walk and ran off the side of my street (which just drops down a hill) and had to claw her way back up, losing all of her nails on all 4 of her paws and doing significant damage to all of the pads on her feet. She looked mangled and was covered in blood so I rushed her to the vet and 400$ later she is on pain meds and antibiotics and just needs to stay in bed and heal, and have her feet soaked every day. More than anything she is emotionally traumatized and I cannot get her to go outside even to go to the bathroom. It's terrible seeing her like this but, I'm sure she'll get better. I feel bad for even bringing her down here now even though I know it's not my fault this happened, I still feel responsible. Also, if anyone knows how to get blood out of fabric please let me know because the back of my rental car is covered. I guess all the news I have is bad at this point, I found out I'm not off from work the day after christmas so I have a 1/2 day that wednesday, off thursday, back to work on friday and off for the weekend? Great. So I can't go home for  christmas. This job is pretty much sucking now that I don't work in Candler anymore. My new branch is filled with grumpy old people and they stuck me in the back corner at the drive-through. I need to go back to school asap. Get a degree in education, and leave north carolina. I can usually look at any situation ina positive light but I guess today is just one of those days. Also I have my period so that's probably why. But still. I feel bad for my dog and Asheville is full of people from the north who moved here because it's trendy. I like the south. I liked Candler. Asheville is getting old fast. Especially because now I have to buy a gun, with my neighborhood being so unsafe and all and law enforcement being pretty much a joke. It will probably be a long winter and I will probably have learned a lot once the warm weather hits again.
