Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Classes started back up again, and I've been trying to start a book review blog. I have a doctor appointment today to start the blood work for the specialist in March. I've lost 17 pounds now and 8 inches off my waist. I can definitely see the difference now. It's kind of weird to look in the mirror and see how much my face has changed. I'm not actually doing it through NutriSystem anymore. I found I could find similar foods in the grocery store that follow the same low G. I. plan. First when I switched over, I gained a pound. I hit a plateau of that weight for about a week and a half. Then this last week I changed a few things I was eating and lost 3.5 pounds. This is the best weight I've been at in ages. I don't remember the last time I weighed less than 215 pounds; probably my freshman or sophomore year.

My classes should be interesting this semester. I have Spanish II, Nazi Germany, Intro to Historiography, Reference (Library Science), and History of Books and Libraries. The middle three will be the challenging ones.
