visited the relatives during Pat's Spring Break, mostly to see my 96-year-old Nonni. =)
we drove up and back, Andrew drove through NYC on the way home!
and on the lower span of the GW bridge, lol. exciting stuff.
we had a good time despite that CT is still in winter.
i had a Starbuck's chai latte every morning; the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th i've ever had! lol
with soy milk cos Andrew thought that's the way i liked them. i didn't notice.

discovered that the yarn store Webs is in Northampton, MA, so we had to go.
i've ordered from them online before and the shop is huge, mostly comprising a warehouse.
bought yarn for Mom's vest, V's poncho and a few more projects. yarn can be so fun and compulsive.
but i need a way to store what i have before i buy more really...

also saw two huge and beautiful trees, the Granby Oak and the Pinchot Sycamore.
massive, stunning. next time it would be nice to see them in leaf and picnic under the sycamore.

the Dewey-Granby Oak

the Pinchot Sycamore and iron bridge we went under to get to it.
