autumn magique

First day of fall apparently is equivalent to me getting things done! Knowing it's here is such a mood booster.

I booked a hair apppointment at this upscale salon in town (I don't trust my hair to just anyone) for October 4th. But I also have to go in for a consultation on the 2nd so that my colourist can "assess the situation" haha. So! I AM finally going my whole head an auburney-orange colour (natural-looking), and I've decided to get bleached blonde chunks at the front sort of asymmetrically around my face and in my bangs. Picture...

I'm so noivous!
I am also booking an appointment to get new eyeglasses, and I'm going to go get mine and Dave's tickets for the Henry Rollins event on our anniversary. Getting my forearm finished this week, and doin' a bunch of winter wardrobe shopping so I can get it over with before the busy xmas season starts.

It feels good to be getting things done! I've gotta go to the Herbal Magic center tonight and get myself back on track with that, since I've sort of been on a hiatus for a couple of weeks. Luckily I haven't gained back any of the weight that I've already lost, so that's cool. Jamaica trip coming up in April, and I want to be bathing suit awesome! MAN I cannot wait for that trip. Me, my mom, my step-dad and my brother are going... I'm totally going to convince my brother to go cliff-jumping with me. Yeah! Apparently we're doing the "all inclusive" thing so I am just going to stay drunk all week, haha. Okay probably not, but I will definitely be smoking a lot of Jamaica's finest :)

I'm getting sick. I AM SICK! :( Woke up this morning with a telltale sore throat and mountains of phlegm to spare. Yum. I powered through a whole bag of Ricola cough drops this morning. Argh. Now my head feels like a marshmallow factory.

Ps. reason number 521568653 that Dave is the best ever? He woke me up yesterday in bed with a hot plate of broccoli & mushroom scrambled eggs and toast, and then we had an awesome Sunday cuddling sesh. Sigh.
