sunshine, lollipops and rainbows coming out of my shithole
I am a little bit on Cloud 9 today. It's just been kind of sort of perfect, y'know?
After work Dave and I biked to A&P and picked up some cold eats, like broccoli salad and pita bread and roasted red pepper dip and sushi, and we hopped on the bike trails and biked all the way to Harris Park for a picnic. I thought it was going to rain, but the weather was in our favour I guess, and it turned out to be PERFECT weather for a picnic. Not hot, not cold, just awesome. We picked a spot right on the edge of the river and ate our foods and threw a bunch of pita bread to the ducks and geese... there was even a family of geese with 5 fluffy, strange, yellow babies!
We biked back home and ate some freezies and cooled down from our sweaty bike ride, and then, since it wasn't as green house-y as it's been in here for the past week, we had a romp on the carpet using a phonebook as a pillow.
And now it's storming lightly outside, the kitties are chillin', and I watched "Honeymoon in Vegas". Siggggh!
Summer time. It's cranky but it's also magical, for lack of a less gay word.
