Hey hey! I'm in a great mood right now... got some fun things on my plate in the near future!
1. I'm going to be doing some hair modelling for an amazing hair stylist at a really upscale salon here in London. Check out some of the work they do there: - gallery -
The girl contacted me and said she saw a bunch of my photos through a mutual friend and loves my "look" (har har har!) and wants to use me for her portfolio. She's gonna do some weird stuff, and put crazy extensions in, possibly do some temporary colour changes, etc. I'm pretty excited about this!
2. Me and Dave have decided to change up the dynamic of our "band" (can we call it that yet? we haven't done a whole lot yet...) and instead of having a real drummer, we're going to use drum programming. So the live shows will be me on bass/vocals and him on guitar/keyboards/vocals, and a computer for our drums. I think we'll be able to be more creative this way, and I think once we start playing live, the energy on stage will be really good.
I've been scribbling lyrics like a fiend lately. Don't know why, I guess I'm just reaching inside and pulling out my intestines, but it's more like they're kind of just voluntarily spewing out. And I think we are going to maybe do a sped-up cover of "A Means to End" by Joy Division, and probably fuck up some old country duet love songs.

3. The beautiful Lesa May aka host of ThisisDeadAir.tv has asked me to be a guest on her show in the coming weeks. I guess to talk about what we like to do to our vaginas, or something. ;) I'm sure it will be totally sexalicious and pervtastic, so you should tune in. I'll keep you posted on when that will be happening. In the meantime, you should check out her show every Thursday at 9 pm Pacific time. She's a total Babe-raham Lincoln, and I want to bang her. That's enough reason for me!
4. All of my long lost friends who have up and ditched me for the big, shiny city (Toronto, the other big, shiny city... London is more like a dull, blase city...) or otherwise very faraway places, are all coming home to my heart in the next few weeks! I have a date with Jeremy on Friday night, after not seeing him for at least six months; Kathy my little Cupcake is coming to see me in three Fridays for booze, dancing and maybe a little slap and tickle in the lights and shadows; and Jenny Dirt-neck McShitty Shitpants Shitheaddd is coming back to Canada for a month, starting at the end of June!!!!!!!!!! Thank fuck for that because if I have to go another minute without seeing my best girl I am going to go bat-shit crazy. Alsooo, I will be seeing Chris a bunch in June and July, and I'm going to go visit him, Kat, Matt and Jeffer in June! Woohoo! Summer is a time for happy happy friendship times.
5. Speaking of Jer, he has been pushing me lately to do a solo photography show. Obviously that is something I have dreamed of doing for awhile, but it seems so impossible right now. Being in a show with 4 other people was expensive enough! I spent almost $600 on that show, and I think I just barely broke even :/
We shall see. I'm in the process of creating some photo essays and some new nudes. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, it's time to stop procrastinating and defeating myself and just rush in, head first.
6. I was trying to clean tonight, so that when I have people over on Friday night I'm not apologizing for my gross apartment, but fuckkkkk why is cleaning such a humongous feat for me!? It's the most overwhelming idea in the world! Argh.
