saturday night dead
Earlier today I had what were probably some of the most crippling menstrual cramps I've had in my life.
I took like 4 extra strength Motrin without thinking, which in turn just made me dizzy and gave me cold sweats.
Needless to say I didn't end up going to Biff's bbq. I picked a good night to stay in though... caught a really wild thunderstorm, saw Jenny Lewis and She & Him on Elvis Costello's show, and now I'm watching "The Notorious Bettie Page" on IFC, which I've been wanting to see since I heard it was in production. Plus I always love when I get to catch SNL.
It's been a mellow weekend... Dave and I stayed in last night, not much was going on in the city. Tomorrow night though, The Number Twelve Looks Like You and Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza are playing at Casbah, so that'll kind of break up the weekend a bit. Hopefully I feel better by then, because man, I feel like I've been on my deathbed all day long.
