wine is not so punk rock... or is it?
Wine, sushi, Hot Rod, pajamas and babes.
That's my plan for tonight. It's a good one.
I've only had five sips of merlot and already I'm feeling warm. That's the thing that I love about wine. Hoyeah.
Can't wait for my ladies to get here!
I made more cupcakes last night. Some have pink octopi, and some have blue flying v guitars. Chocolate with white icing. They're for the Rocktopuss show tomorrow night in St. Thomas (aka Midwives and DDC). I'm really into baking lately for some reason. It's pretty relaxing, and not to mention DELICIOUS.
My friend Jeff came to visit me today at work and brought me presents! (Birthday and xmas)
He got me this book I've wanted for awhile called "Punk: Young, Loud and Snotty" (I find it weird that they would take that exact title from the Dead Boys... seems like they should have put some sort of twist on it instead?), which I'm totally psyched about, and also The Duke Spirit's "Neptune" album. His instructions for listening to the album were: "Turn it up real loud, get really high, and just listen." And so I shall. But not tonight!
Oh and I am gonna be singing backing vocals on the Clydesdales album when they record! Woot! Chris asked me today. That'll be fun. I'd rather be playing bass though. Grr!
Okay seriously, I'm already pretty tipsy and that was only my first glass of merlot.
