What a weekend
I had two things that I meant to post on here earlier.
1.) My 7 year old, is now 8. Her party was insane. My wife handled the invitations and she simply invited too many kids. 10 kids is too many in our small house. Then on top of it, we didn't keep them reined in and soon they were running around and screaming. The girls chased the boys. And the boys started chasing back. Avery had a good time, but I was so glad when we were down to just one girl for a sleepover. The house is almost back to normal now.
2.) My 3 year old is so smart sometimes. Her older sis was playing this game where she was trying to keep the balloons that were losing air up in the air. So as they slowly floated down, she'd kick/hit/headbutt them back up again. 8 year old says proudly, "I can keep 3 in the air."
Then the 3 year old say, "I can keep 5 in the air."
"Yeah, right"
"I can!"
"Prove it."
So the 3 year old take the balloons and takes the ribbon off them so they float up to the ceiling, and stay there.
Way to think outside the box, girl!
